Green Phoenix is a community of ecovillages,

a vessel for spiritual exchange, trust, healing, compassion and intimacy,

a hub for deep inspiration on a spiritual and heart level,

a place for learning together and rising our consciousness,

supporting the GEN network and other transformational change makers,

embracing many walks of life.

This year’s topic:

Holding a spiritual perspective on life— yet we are confronted with conflicts, division and suffering worldwide.

How can we understand what is happening around us and meet these realities with clarity and compassion?

What does it mean to take responsibility—for ourselves, for our actions, and for the world we create?

How can we transform today’s challenges into opportunities for growth, healing, and awakening?

What can we learn from the contrast between life in a privileged world and the realities faced by oppressed and exploited peoples?

As a “think-and-feel” tank Green Phoenix aims to bring awareness about a regenerative and sustainable future for humanity and our planet.

FEASIBILITY, STRUCTURE AND PARTICIPATION

Target participants are primarily representatives of established communities in Europe exhibiting GEN-like complexity. Representatives should have extended experience living in community, ideally 5+ years for ages 40 and above, and at least 2-5 years for those under 40.

If you want to join, consider to plan your participation for the next 3 years as we value the continuity of participation. Green Phoenix represents the community of community and is built upon trust and relationship. We always welcome and include new family members. We have transparent criteria for new communities wishing to join.

Group size: The maximum number of participants is about 40, guaranteeing the necessary intimacy to deepen our relationships and continue the kind of group work that best strengthens the community of communities.

Inter-continental participants: We are aiming at having inter-continental participation again in 2026 and will keep you informed on it as it becomes clear. This depends mainly on funding.

Who should register or apply:

– Repeat Participants: The core communities that have participated since 2015 are warmly invited to send the same representatives as in the last 3 years. We invite you to consider bringing along someone younger as well. If you can’t come, please let us know if you will send a replacement

– New Participants: New communities interested to join Green Phoenix and willing to commit to participating for the next 3 years, are welcome to apply. All full members and associates of GEN Europe are receiving this invitation.
